Wow...I just looked at that pic mike posted of me a bit ago.....yuck.
Will keep u all posted. I am having contractions about every 1-2 min.
UPDATE 10:01 The water is now broken and we are on the birthing ball!
UPDATE: 1:00 We are waiting on the next doctor visit and a check on dilation. Contractions are still going good. The waiting room is filling up, Melissas sibs are here and Grandpa and Grandma Lombardi are on their way. Thanks for all the support.

Family is helping out with passing the time as we go through more contractions. Thanks for all the thaughts and prayers.
UPDATE: 4:25 We had our last check at 3:30 and Melissa was at 4 cm. Just now at 4:20 we had the epidural and will try to nap for a bit. We asked the nurse to take a guess on how much longer and she said 11:00 pm, but we all know only one person knows exactly when.
6:30 We have now reached 5-6 cms and the baby is at -1.5. We are in between resting stages. Think dialating thoughts everyone!
8:10 The last check put us at 6 cm and at zero position (a scale from -2 to 2). We are chanign positions and find the left side is the best thus far and also gives the best contractions. The waiting room gang has been great and patient. Thank you all for the support and believe me we are trying to give you all the good news as soon as possible. Melissa still needs a little rest before the pushing begins, and we are trying to get her ready with eating popsicles. More news to come.
8:35 We are getting great contractions on a very good schedule. She is also having a lot of pressure "down there". All very good signs. Very exciting.
8:41 WE ARE AT 9 CM! Sorry friends but we are cutting off visitors into the room. Hopefully next time you come back there will be a new one here! Keep the prayers coming. They are calling the doctor with updates now.
